Hecate is the Titan Goddess of witchcraft, necromancy, ghosts, crossroads (choices), magic, and the moon in Greek Mythology. She is a chthonic deity –
has a connection to the earth and the hidden mysteries of the underworld.
Hecate is one of the older gods, called Titans.
In Greek mythology, the Titans were a group of powerful ancient gods who ruled the cosmos before the Olympian gods came to power.
Hecate was born before the Olympian Gods, as the daughter of the Titan Gods: Perses and Asteria.

People invoke Hekate for various reasons, for seeking guidance, blessings, or protection of home and family. People believed that Hecate had a power to bring good fortune and ward off evil. She is often associated with protection, guidance, and assistance, especially in times of need or difficulty. She is typically called upon to enforce the law, to restore justice.
Hekate has control of all magic. She is the protector and beloved goddess of witches.
Hecate has immortality and eternal youth. She is self-healing and is immune to tiredness, any diseases, disorders, or illnesses humans may get.
