Hekate invocation ritual

Connect with the Goddess

This ritual aims to connect you with Hekate.

Ingredients:

Directions:

Cleanse your space and tools any way you like.
Meditate to clear your mind and open up your third eye.
Affix your candles to a plate or holder. Place the black candle on the left and the white candle on the right.
Surround each candle with mugwort. You may place any offerings at this time as well.
Light the black candle while saying, “Hekate, goddess of the crossroads, I invite your presence into this sacred space.”
Light the white candle while saying, “Hekate, my guide. Illuminate my path with your wisdom.”
Take a few moments to visualize Hekate surrounding you. Try to feel her energy and presence.
Focus on your intentions and any concerns you may have regarding working with Hekate. Say these concerns aloud and feel her ease them. Write down any messages you divine or anything you may see in the candle flames. Are the flames moving a lot or not at all? Are you seeing any colors in your mind’s eye? Are there any words standing out to you?
Sit for however long you would like, inviting her into your life.
When ready, express gratitude for her presence and let her know you are eager to work with her again. Extinguish the candles and light them each time you would like to call upon her.
